{"id":759,"date":"2017-02-09T14:04:13","date_gmt":"2017-02-09T14:04:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/trianglepreschool.org.uk\/?page_id=759"},"modified":"2017-02-09T14:04:13","modified_gmt":"2017-02-09T14:04:13","slug":"funding-changes-september-2017","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/trianglepreschool.org.uk\/index.php\/funding-changes-september-2017\/","title":{"rendered":"Funding changes from September 2017"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3>Early Years funding<\/h3>\n<p>The Government is proposing to increase the free childcare offer for three- and four-year-olds from 15 to 30 hours a week from September 2017.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/trianglepreschool.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/apprentice-1694970_640.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-761 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/trianglepreschool.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/apprentice-1694970_640-300x227.jpg\" alt=\"Two young children with a teacher in the background and some colouring pencils in the foreground.\" width=\"300\" height=\"227\" srcset=\"https:\/\/trianglepreschool.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/apprentice-1694970_640-300x227.jpg 300w, https:\/\/trianglepreschool.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/apprentice-1694970_640-397x300.jpg 397w, https:\/\/trianglepreschool.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/apprentice-1694970_640.jpg 640w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a>To qualify for the full 30 hours of free childcare each parent, or the sole parent in a single parent family,\u00a0will need to earn, on average, the equivalent of 16 hours on the national minimum wage per week (currently \u00a3111.20 per week for those aged 21 or over) and no more than \u00a3100,000 per year.
