A number of our children have English as an Additional Language (EAL). Our aim, as with every child, is to ensure they are happy and confident with what is happening at preschool. Being left in a setting where your mother tongue is not spoken can be daunting and we understand this. Where possible, we ask that parents translate on arrival on the first few mornings, explaining to their child what is happening. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We have also had interpreters visit on a number of occasions which has helped preschoolers gain confidence and feel comfortable in their surroundings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
